S1E12 The Companions - Discussions, Hints of a Past and The Way Forwards

Episode 12.  The Companions have returned to the Leather and Lash and taken stock of what happened in Pietr the Sculptor’s building.  They have discussed the task that Jax wants them to do, which in return will offer them some protection from the city and have him investigate on their behalf.   Two people – not Inquisitors but working for them – walk in and they get an idea of the protection that Jax can offer.  Now, back to the adventure !

S1E10 Part 2 - Pietr the Sculptors, Silver that Burns, and Going into the Wrong Inn

Hi Everyone, 

thanks for tuning in :)  At the time of writing this, we are just about to hit our 500th download, which is great for us and thanks very much to all of you, you are the best and we appreciate you very much !

So, last episode the party found Cid the Human Bloodhunter almost dead, with sores over his body and barely breathing.  He was laying next to the corpse of the crossbowman that Leaf 'n' Twig had smashed with his club only an hour before, although it was already decaying.  Will they take Cid to the church, or not ?

In this episode we find out the effect that silver has on certain beings, see what happens when you just go into the wrong inn and suddenly realise it, listen as Reethos plays with Darkness, and Leaf - in his disguise as a Thengdrin - wants his pay ;)

The party do find out information for the task Castrix the Inquisitor gave them, and even get some extra information they weren't expecting at all...

S1E10 Part 1 The Companions - At Pietr the Sculptors aka "Get Him to a Church"

Hi Everyone ! 

Thanks for turning in :)

So, after finding the location of Pietr – the sculptor that the Inquisitors had discovered making statues of Heronious the Southern God, and convinced to add in a marker that they could then track – only to find his shop had been ransacked, the Companions battled a shade.  In this episode, they discover that some opponents like to poison the weapons of underlings so that they leave no witnesses.  Using weapons without examination might prove fatal...

Viktor pays a couple of gold to Byron at the Singing Siren to pay for taxes and licenses on a certain package that needs burying, before heading off to the Leather and Lash with an elderly gentleman called Bartholomew as a guide. 

Reethos discovers that being weak means he can bounce up and down on a crowbar, Carmac opens a trapdoor by literally pulling the door apart, and Leaf goes in search of Cid who, for his part, decided to ‘have a bit of a rest’.

S1E9 The Companions - Almost Lost but Mostly Recovered

This episode was uploaded whilst on vacation in Cuba (see the lengths we go to, to get episodes out on time ?! lol).  Howevere, there was a little technical difficulty but the podcast was mostly recovered and published OK, we'll bring anything missing back into the beginning of Episode 10.

It might possibly also have had something to do with rum, I'm not sure !

In this episode, the Companions go to The Leather & Lash.  It isn't what they expected, it isn't 'cheap' as Timothy had been told, and was in fact a very tasteful example of "it's type".  

The Teifling makes a new friend, Timothy gets spoiled, and the Dragonborn discovers some ointments to make his armour more stealthy... honest.

Inquisitors S1E1 - The Inquisitors of Illem - The Order and The Crown of Golden Yellow

Welcome to the first episode of The Inquisitors of Illem.  Based in the same DnD5E world and the same timeline as The Companions, this podcast follows three Lawful Evil members of The Order - the secret sect that works behind the scenes to enforce the status quo in Illem.  

Nominally led by Canon the Inquisitor of Valos the God of Obedience, with Book the Assassin from the same church and Damien the Paladin of Koros the God of Punishment, the three begin their first mission for The Order in attempting to track down two missing books of heretical worship.  Along the way, they encounter something much more ancient and powerful than they expected...

Leaf'n Twig the Firbolg Ranger and Cid the Human Bloodhunter move Northwards, reaching the Farmhouse where the rest of the Companions are.  But they soon find out, it isn't farmers that are there to greet them...
